Daytona Qualifying Procedures Announced

Officials announced the formal plan for how qualifying will commence at Daytona International Speedway for the OSCC Throwback Series Daytona 500. Below is the official schedule*. June 12th:

7:00pm ET- A Two Lap/5 minute, single car session goes up for EVEN NUMBERED CARS. There should be 44 cars in this server. IF YOU ARE NOT AN EVEN NUMBERED CAR, DO NOT JOIN THIS SERVER.


7:05pm ET- A Two Lap/5 minute, single car session goes up for EVEN NUMBERED CARS. There should be 44 cars in this server. IF YOU ARE NOT AN ODD NUMBERED CAR, DO NOT JOIN THIS SERVER.


Top 60 times from these two servers move on to the Duels. Positions 61-88 will miss the race, and will have to try again in two weeks time at Rockingham.

7:30pm ET- The Duel 1 server goes up. Cars that qualified in odd positions out of the combined servers will go to this server. The lineup will be preset, so you cannot join as a driver if you are not in this race. The results from this race will form the inside lane for the Daytona 500. 9:00pm ET- The Duel 2 server goes up. Cars that qualified in even positions out of the combined servers will go to this server. The lineup will be preset, so you cannot join as a driver if you are not in this race. The results from this race will form the outside lane for the Daytona 500. 11:00pm ET- Qualifying night concludes. The lineup will be set for the Daytona 500 June 19th.
